Upgrade your Fox 36 to the all new Grip X damper

The Grip X and Grip X2 are Fox's latest generation of fork dampers and are based on the highly successful Grip2. The Grip X is very similar to the new Grip X2 damper, but is geared towards riders with trail/all-mountain bikes, offering simpler setup and full lockout functionality, all in a 120 gram lighter package.

Does your Fox 36 have an older Fit4 or Fit RC2 damper? The Grip X is much more sensitive and plush and is a huge upgrade over those older dampers.

Grip X Damper

When it’s time to climb, simply rotate the high-speed compression adjuster clockwise until you feel the final distinct click. At that point, Grip X simultaneously closes both high and low-speed compression, allowing a firm platform for efficient power transfer to the pedals. Before dropping in, back the highspeed adjuster off to the desired setting and descend with all the added traction and predictability, without compromise. 

• Firm Mode engages at the final click of high-speed compression. Easily accessible when climbing.
• 120g Lighter than the Grip X2 while maintaining similar traction and predictability.
• 3-Way Adjustability (rebound, high/low speed compression) for easier set up and trail functionality.

• Fox 36 fork models 2015 and newer
• Maximum travel: 180mm on 27.5" fork, 170mm on 29" fork
